Description: This term for writing we had to split up into different groups. We got to choose if we were doing: limericks with Troy, descriptive writing with Rebecca and reports with Elly. I decided to go with the Descriptive writing because I really need to work on that.


Task: our writing task for this term was to make little story about an experiences in Poutama, but I wanted to be more creative in my writing and do a story based of something that has happened at school.

A I think that Kesai and Rezza felt nervous and frightened.

A I think that the fact that the people that got taken away was what frightened her.

Pre reading task

Description: In term 4 we have done something a little bit different in reading. We an't doing tic tac toes we are doing literacy ladder. Also we have a a book to read this job was to do a Prediction about whats going to happen in the story.

1. Title - The title sounds like there is a special date.

Cover Design - I think the illustrations look like there is two robots that look evil and then there is a girl that looks out casted and the robots are trying to catch her.

Blurb - In the blurb the part the hooked me in was when it mentions the young female outcasts.

2. Predictions - I think that the story is set in the future and in a prison. I think that the young female outcasts are trying to get away from the robots. And they are a little bit see through so I think that they are like ghosts and they came go through things. The robots look like guards and they have got guns. I think that it’s like in a movie that i watched how you need a special ID to live in the city.
